We are virtually in the centre of the Pyrenees, nestled in the mountains at the foot of the Col des Ares, which was featured once again in the 2008 Tour de France route, in a beautiful little village called ORE.

There are good road links to our Gites that can enhance your adventures whilst you holiday here in the Pyrenees.

Spain is just a 20 minute drive from us to the south, for cheap booze and fuel.
Toulouse is 1 1/4 hours from us.
The Atlantic coast and Biarritz are a 2 1/2 hour drive away.
The Mediterranean coast is 2 1/2 hours to the east of us.
The ski resorts are all around us and you can reach 8 of them with a maximum 1 1/2 hours drive to the furthest resort.

The Pyrenees mountains are all around us, and they are one big adventure playground, that offer a huge variety of things to do and see; The summer is now here and of late we have been enjoying some fabulous weather, so come and enjoy it with us. We are ideally situated for:
